Took a Hike!

I have been experiencing some cabin fever as of late, so I decided to resolve that issue and declared Sundays "Hike Day".

We went on our "first" hike last Sunday, but as it was just me and the kiddos I didn't take the camera. It was still a nice time though.

This week however Mike went with us and brought the camera. We are very fortunate to live close to the Valley of Fire. We hiked to Mouse's Tank this week and plan to do many more hikes there.

Ethan just read a book!!!

I went to pick Ethan up today from Pre-School and received a wonderful surprise. Ethan read a book! He has had all of the "tools" for awhile now, he just needed some confidence in himself. He has it now!!! He did AMAZING! I am so proud of him and his BIG accomplishment.

We Survived!!!

Yes we made it through another holiday season! Christmas, Mike's Birthday, and New Years have now come and gone and we have settled back into the school routine.

The children of course were spoiled to death!!! The most heartwarming thing was when Logan and McKenzie decided to help Ethan get the gift he most wanted for Christmas, an Xbox 360. See Santa just could not find room in his sleigh, but Logan and McKenzie donated all their Christmas money to the "Ethan Fund". It took every dime they all had, including Dylan and Sophie's as well, Mom and Dad even pitched in for a game! Ethan was the most thankful little boy you could imagine. Logan and McKenzie enjoy the Xbox too ;p
